The Sono 600 is a high temperature gel couplant designed for long term coupling application since it is not water soluble. It meets nuclear specifications for halogen and sulfur levels. Temperature range: -18 to 271 Celsius (0 to 700°F). IMPORTANT: the Sono 600 is non-toxic, non-irritating since it does not contains perfluorocarbons (PTFE) which when overheated release gases that cause “polymer fume fever” = a flu-like illness that can last up to 24 hours.
