    Wire Type IQI – ASTM E747
    ASTM E747 wire penetrameters are accepted by ASME V and AWS as an alternative to plaque IQI’s. Encapsulated in vinyl for durability, they are available in 4 set (A, B, C and D) in stainless, aluminum and copper. Set A and B are also available in Inconel and titanium. Find below the most common penetrameters:
    • QPX2010: Wire Penetrameter ASTM E747-97, Set A – Stainless, 2" long.
    • QPX2012: Wire Penetrameter ASTM E747-97, Set B – Stainless, 2" long.
    • QPX2014: Wire Penetrameter ASTM E747-97, Set C – Stainless, 2" long.
    • QPX2016: Wire Penetrameter ASTM E747-97, Set D – Stainless, 2" long.
