Comet X-ray System - RENTAL

Comet is your one-stop manufacturer for supplying x-ray generators, metal-ceramic X-ray tube, cooler and cables. All iXRS systems have remote access through an internet connection for remote troubleshooting. The X-ray system for radiographic inspection is available for rent and includes the stationary Comet iVario XRS-225/4500W X-ray Generator, a MXR-225/26 X-ray tube head and a 10m HV cable. Specifications:

  • X-ray tube MXR-225/26 - focal spot ((EN 12543) (1.0/5.5mm = 640W/3000W)).
  • iVario Generator 225kV / 4500Watt (including flanges) – 208-240VAC with IP54 cover.
  • High-Voltage 10m cable P3/250-R24SL-R28SL.
  • Cooler XRC-3023-WA with 20m cooling hoses and 20m cooler power cable).
  • Laptop controller with iVario software & Ethernet protocol T3 (20m cable.
  • iVario breakout box (to connect the interlock(s), external warning signs, internal tower light, buzzer and e-stop (if applicable).
  • X-ray system Health Canada RED ACT compliant.
    • Delivered with laser centering device.
